HONG Kong shares have opened flat amid uncertainty about the Cyprus banking crisis.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index was down 13.99 points at 22,211.89 in the first minutes of trade on Friday.
In Shanghai, Chinese shares were down slightly in early trading.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.12 percent, or 2.72 points.
