THE Australian share market has closed stronger, buoyed by expectations of a resolution to the debt crisis in Cyprus.
At the close on Monday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was 22.9 points, or 0.46 per cent, stronger at 4,990.2, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 20.7 points, or 0.42 per cent, at 5,001.5.
On the ASX 24, the June share price index futures contract was 34 points higher at 5,003, with 26,555 contracts traded.
